Many Pet Owners fo an abrupt switch. Howver the easiest way is to mix it with the existing diet .**

Start with 1/4 of the diet being the new raw foods. After 4 days go to 1/2.

After another 4 days fo the 3/4. At 12 days, switch over completely.

Some dogs have more sensitive digestive tracts. If you feel that your pet may be more sensitive, do either or both of the following:

1. Start with 1/8 of the new diet for 4 days - making the transition be 16 days.

2. Add digestive enzymes to the diet for the transition period. (Digest Aide by Mc Intosh Proline)

** If, for budgetary or other reasons, you wish to continue to also feed dry food, we recommend you feed them as sperate meals. Dry food digests at a different rate (it takes much longer to digest) than The Ultimate Diet. You therefore get the maximum benefit by feeding as separate meals - one the morning, one evening.
